If you are someone who loves makeup, then 'take heart' – for you have reasons to cheer! A new study revealed that your daily makeup ritual will not only improve your looks, but may even boost your love life.

For the study, women were asked to keep a journal to record the changes they felt after just four days following the ritual - 71% reported an increased desire for romance, 69% were more open to finding love, 77% felt more outgoing and social, and 74% said they were more likely to flirt.
According to the researchers, the ritual consists of facing a mirror, using a favourite fragrance, applying makeup, savouring a candy, taking a deep breath and looking at yourself and smiling.
