Prince Andrew’s Former Girlfriend Koo Stark Tipped For Celebrity Big Brother

Koo Stark, who rose to fame as a result of her relationship as Prince Andrew’s girlfriend, could be about to line up a date of a different kind – with the Celebrity Big Brother house.

According to The Sun the American-born actress and photographer – who was in the royal relationship for 18 months – will be taking her place with the next batch of famous faces when the series returns in January.

The paper reports that she has been offered a ‘huge contract’ to take part in the show – with producers reportedly hoping she will spill some secrets about the Prince.

‘We think Koo is a brilliant booking,’ a source said. ‘There aren’t many people who dated a royal.’

‘She has traditionally been very discreet but if she opens up she will have some amazing stories to tell.’

Koo – whose full name is Kathleen Dee-Ann Stark – met Prince Andrew on a blind date in 1981.

The pair had been tipped to tie the knot – with Andrew even taking her to Balmoral to meet the royal family – but their romance came to an end after it emerged that Koo had starred in an erotic movie called Emily in 1976.

If she does take part she could potentially be joining a house tipped to include former Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis, Strictly Come Dancing’s Kristina Rihanoff and TOWIE star Gemma Collins.

Metro.co.uk has contacted a representative of Koo Stark for comment. A Channel 5 representative declined to comment on the speculation.
