Former Spice Girl Geri Talks Christmas Coming Early, Her Landmark Year And THOSE Spice Girl Reunion Rumours

Former Spice Girl Geri Horner has revealed how 2015 has been “a landmark year” for her because “it’s the year I married and we became a family.”

She married Formula One’s Christian Horner in May this year, with her nine-year-old daughter, Bluebell, at her side.

She told Hello! magazine: “It’s the most incredible thing. Of all the stages of my life I don’t think I’ve ever felt happier, more content or more myself. I have absolutely everything I never dreamed I’d have. My Christmas came early this year.”

Opening up about her personal life, she said that the success and fame she found as part of the Spice Girls meant it was “impossible to have relationships.”

She said: “I didn’t actually start dating properly until my 30s. I became a single mum and that changed my life massively.”

The 43-year-old singer said when she met Christian in 2014 she knew right away that he was different.

“He was interested in me for me. I think the kind of relationship we have with someone special reflects how we feel about ourselves.”

She added: “He was a big enough man to take on my whole Spice Girl past and be proud of it. When I introduced him to Bluebell, she loved him straight away. Kids are amazing BS detectors and I really think a lot of her opinion because she’s a very smart cookie.”

Following their fairytale wedding, she is looking forward to her happily ever after with Christian, who is the Red Bull team principal.

He said: “It’s our first Christmas as a married couple and it’s just great. We’re all very, very happy.”

Commenting on the rumours of a Spice Girls reunion next year she said: “It would be great fun. We are all still very much a part of each other’s lives.”
