DREAM SIGNING: Could Messi join United? |
It is understood the 28-year-old would make the marquee move to England if a club offered him a staggering £600,000-a-week deal.
United, as well as City, Arsenal and Chelsea, are keen on the four-time World Footballer of the Year.
When asked to pick the team-mates and opponents he rates highest in certain skills, Romero couldn’t help but drop Messi’s name on a number of occasions.
"The quickest player has to be Lionel Messi," the stopper told United’s official website.
