Followers of ISIS were possibly taken aback — maybe happily so — when they logged into an Internet site intended to recruit radical jihadists only to find ads for Viagra.
According to the Independent, a group loosely affiliated with the hacker collective known as Anonymous hacked the website and replaced it with a message telling the fundamentalist Islamic group to “Enhance your calm.”![]() |

“Enhance your calm,” the website stated before being taken down. “Too many people are into this ISIS-stuff. Please gaze upon this lovely ad so we can upgrade our infrastructure to give you ISIS content you all so desperately crave.”
The ad then directed inquisitive Internet viewers on the “dark net” site — designed to recruits followers — to what appeared to be a online pharmacy that accepts Bitcoin in exchange for male enhancement drugs.
GhostSec is a splinter group affiliated with Anonymous who have launched their own jihad against ISIS, ramping up their efforts after the ISIS attack in Paris that killed over 130 on earlier in the month.
