Amon (49), of extension 1 in Soshanguve, Tshwane said that if he leaves food in his fridge or cupboard the evil thing eats it or trashes it.
He can’t keep money or lovers because of the tokoloshe’s evil spell.
Amon said the invisible thing broke his plasma TV while he was at church.
“When I pray, bottles and tools fall down in the house.
“I can’t remember when last I had a proper night’s sleep. It knocks things around in the house. I can’t get used to the scary noise.
“I’m only happy at work or when visiting relatives. There’s always trouble waiting for me,” he said.
After work last Tuesday he found all his taps gushing water.
When he got home on Monday with the SunTeam, he found doors leading to bedrooms shut although he said he left them open.
He said the trouble began with strange knocking noises when he built a shack in 1994 for himself and his wife.
“We couldn’t sleep at night. My wife left me for no reason,” he said.
Sangoma Brenda Mnisi said evil people sent the thing. “He must ask a proper sangoma to get rid of it.
“It might be a tokoloshe or a ghost.
“Meanwhile, he can use snuff to communicate with his ancestors and the creature,” she said.
